Thomas W. Dunn, D.V.M.
Dr. Dunn is a native of Orange
county. He grew up in Mauriceville and graduated from LCM
High School. He attended
Texas A&M University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal
Science. He received the degree Doctor of Veterinary
Medicine from Texas A&M in 1984.
Being around and working
with animals has been practically an everyday activity for
Dr. Dunn. Caring for livestock was always one of the
chores around the Dunn home. 4H
and later FFA projects included raising pigs,
chickens, rabbits, and cattle. He first worked at
Cypress
Animal
Hospital
in the summer of 1977 as a veterinary assistant. While
attending A&M, he worked at a lab animal research
facility caring for dogs, cats, monkeys, baboons, rabbits,
and many other kinds of animals.
Following graduation, Dr. Dunn entered private practice and has been
in private practice ever since, except for a brief period
of employment with USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection
Service. He worked at
Cypress
Animal
Hospital
for his mentor, Dr. Robert Hall, who founded the practice
in 1972. He acquired the practice after Dr. Hall passed
away in 1988.
Dr.
Dunn and his wife Dottie live in the Mauriceville area.
They both enjoy fishing, gardening and watching the Aggies
win.

Ginny Amber Brandi
Candy has been employed with Cypress Animal Clinic since September 2001. Along with
helping in the exam room, she is responsible for account receivables and payables, and managing open accounts. If you have any questions about billing ask for Candy.
Candy, her husband Scott, & their two children Ty and Cam, & her
yorkie "Romo" live in Little Cypress,
"GO BEARS"! Candy & her family love to practice football,
going fishing and doing family activities, including
4-wheeling & boating. Candy is looking forward to helping you in anyway and seeing you soon!

Stacey has been with Cypress Animal Clinic since
September 2000. Since then she has become a Certified
Veterinary Assistant Level II. Along with assisting the doctors in the exam room,
treatment area & surgery, her responsibilities include follow-up calls,
ordering, & preparing the clinics’ online newsletter.
Stacey & her husband live in Bridge City & have three children &
seven grandchildren. She has 2 dogs, (“Elvis” &
"Little Bit"). She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren,
raising chickens, & sleeping late on weekends.
Stacey says she enjoys & looks forward to the friends (both clients & animals) that she meets each day at the clinic & over the telephone.

Brandi started working at
Cypress Animal Clinic in August 2007. She is a Certified
Veterinary Assistant Level I. Brandi lives in Vidor with her
husband, daughter, & 2 dogs ("Balboa" & "Tank"). She has a
passion for animals & takes a personal interest in every
patient. Brandi is funny & tries to keep the mood around the
clinic light. Brandi likes to cook, shop, & hang out with
her family. Before coming to CAC Brandi worked at PetSmart &
was a volunteer with the Humane Society of Southeast Texas.
Brandi's responsibilities include assisting in the exam
rooms, surgery room, & helping in the reception area.

Lauren began
working here at Cypress Animal Clinic as receptionist in
August 2007. She has always wanted to work in the veterinary
field & she loves it. Her family of 4 consists of Erik (The
Husband), Hayden, ( The Coolest Kid Ever), Ranger ( The
Dog), & Nala (The Cat). Lauren enjoys staying busy, spending
her spare time with friends & family. A "few" of her
interests are dinner parties, photography, art, dancing,
movies, tennis, sleeping, shopping, fishing, vacations, days
spent on the river, crawfish boils, & weekend bon fires.
Lauren enjoys greeting clients & their pets on a day to day
basis, & occasionally taking care of the pets that may be
boarding or hospitalized over the weekend. If you would like
to schedule your pet for an appointment, need a medication
refilled, or have any questions, feel free to give Lauren a
call & she will be happy to assist you.

 Brooklyn has worked
at Cypress Animal Clinic since August 2007 as one of the
great receptionists upfront. She lives in Orange with her
fiancé, Dustin, & two GORGEOUS Chihuahua's, "Dolce" &
"Mazy". You will always find Brooklyn in a cheerful & fun
mood. She likes playing with the puppies & kittens at work
as well as greeting the clients with a smile & positive
attitude. Outside of work, Brooke loves to spend time with
her amazing family, four nephews & one niece, as well as
shopping, making wedding plans, cooking, vacationing,
spending "girls nights out" with her friends, & dinner & a
movie with her future husband. Brooke plans on obtaining her
Bachelors in Business Marketing. Next time your animal

Ginny started off
with Cypress Animal Clinic as a client quiet a while back,
but joined the staff almost two years ago. Ginny grew up in
Beaumont & moved with her family to Orange by way of
California & Louisiana. Gardening, reading, & traveling are
some of her favorite hobbies. You will meet Ginny & her
cheerful smile assisting the doctors in the exam rooms.
Ginny enjoys meeting & greeting the patients & their owners.
Along with her exam room & treatment area responsibilities,
Ginny also helps to recover the pets after surgeries.

Amber has been working at CAC since December 2008. Amber is a Certified Veterinary
Assistant 1. She & her husband Jess have deep roots in
Orange, Texas which is why they have chosen to raise their
son Gavin, here. Amber enjoys reading & spending time with
her family, which includes 3 felines named "Laney", "Luna",
& "BoBo Cat". Ambers responsibilities around CAC include
assisting the doctors in the exam rooms, caring for patients
in the treatment area, & monitoring patients during surgery.
Amber loves her patients & enjoys meeting their owners as
well.
