Thomas W. Dunn, D.V.M.
Dr. Dunn is a native of Orange
county. He grew up in Mauriceville and graduated from LCM
High School. He attended
Texas A&M University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal
Science. He received the degree Doctor of Veterinary
Medicine from Texas A&M in 1984.
Being around and working
with animals has been practically an everyday activity for
Dr. Dunn. Caring for livestock was always one of the
chores around the Dunn home. 4H
and later FFA projects included raising pigs,
chickens, rabbits, and cattle. He first worked at
Cypress
Animal
Hospital
in the summer of 1977 as a veterinary assistant. While
attending A&M, he worked at a lab animal research
facility caring for dogs, cats, monkeys, baboons, rabbits,
and many other kinds of animals.
Following graduation, Dr. Dunn entered private practice and has been
in private practice ever since, except for a brief period
of employment with USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection
Service. He worked at
Cypress
Animal
Hospital
for his mentor, Dr. Robert Hall, who founded the practice
in 1972. He acquired the practice after Dr. Hall passed
away in 1988.
Dr.
Dunn and his wife Dottie live in the Mauriceville area.
They both enjoy fishing, gardening and watching the Aggies
win.

Candy has been employed with Cypress Animal Clinic since September 2001. Along with
helping in the exam room, she is responsible for account receivables and payables, and managing open accounts. If you have any questions about billing ask for Candy.
Candy, her husband Scott, & their two children Ty and Cam, & her yorkie "Romo" live in Little Cypress,
"GO BEARS"! Candy & her family love to practice football,
going fishing and doing family activities, including
4-wheeling & boating. Candy is looking forward to helping you in anyway and seeing you soon!

Stacey has been with Cypress Animal Clinic since
September 2000. Since then she has become a Certified
Veterinary Assistant Level II. Along with assisting the doctors in the exam room,
treatment area & surgery, her responsibilities include
inventory management,
ordering, & preparing the clinics’ online newsletter.
Stacey & her husband live in Bridge City where they
have just begun raising Tennessee Walking horses. She
has 2 dogs, (“Elvis” & "Little Bit"). She enjoys
spending time with her grandchildren, horseback riding,
traveling, & sleeping late on weekends.
Stacey says she enjoys & looks forward to the friends (both clients & animals) that she meets each day at the clinic & over the telephone.

Brandi started working at
Cypress Animal Clinic in August 2007. She is a Certified
Veterinary Assistant Level I. Brandi lives in Mauriceville
with her daughter, & her dog "Balboa". She has a
passion for animals & takes a personal interest in every
patient. Brandi is funny & tries to keep the mood around the
clinic light. Brandi likes to cook, shop, & hang out with
her family. Before coming to CAC Brandi worked at PetSmart &
was a volunteer with the Humane Society of Southeast Texas.
Brandi's responsibilities include assisting in the exam
rooms, monitoring surgeries, & managing the treatment area.

Ginny started off
with Cypress Animal Clinic as a client many years back,
but joined the staff in November of 2007. Ginny grew up in
Beaumont & moved with her family to Orange by way of
California & Louisiana. Gardening, reading, & traveling are
some of her favorite hobbies. You will meet Ginny & her
cheerful smile assisting the doctors in the exam rooms.
Ginny enjoys meeting & greeting the patients & their owners.
Ginny's responsibilities include assisting the doctors in
the exam room, treatment area, & helping to monitor patients
( both hospitalized & boarders). Ginny earned a Bachelor of
Science degree from Texas A & M University with the class of
1978.

Meghan has been with
Cypress Animal Clinic since April 2010. She is a Certified
Veterinary Assistant Level I, & is studying for Level II.
She lives in West Orange with her son, Jaxxon, & her dog
"Chewy". Meghan says there isn't a dog too big for her to
handle! She enjoys wrestling with her son, cooking,
SHOPPING, photography, & spending time with her friends &
family. Meghan loves to nurse sick patients back to health,
& enjoys the look on a clients' face when she reunites them
with their furry loved ones.
